Rare Victorian salad bowl, with an interior design featuring a variety of large seaweed to simulate the seabed, which also continues on the exterior. Three large lobsters serve as supports for the bowl.
The rim of the bowl is finished with a silver-plated metal band. Accompanied by two silver-plated serving spoons stamped J. Dixon & Son, with ceramic claw-shaped handles.
